The Banda Simfònica Unió Musical de Llíria wins the first prize in the Honor Section of the 136 CIBM “Ciudad de València”
The Municipal Symphonic Band of Valencia has been in charge of closing this edition of the Contest. With the triumph of the Unió Musical de Llíria Simfònica Band in the Honor Section, achieving 364.5 points, the 136th edition of the “Ciudad de València” International Band Competition concludes. The second prize went to the La Artística Musical Society of Buñol, with 361.5 points, and the third to the La Armónica de Buñol Musical Instruction Center with 355.5 points.

The First Section of the 136 CIBM “Ciudad de València” ends with the triumph of the Banda Marcial do Vale de Portugal
The Honor Section puts the finishing touch to this 136th edition this Sunday. The First Section of the “Ciudad de València” International Music Band Contest, held at the Palau de la Música, has ended with the triumph of the Banda Marcial do Vale (Portugal), which has won first prize by reaching 351 points. . The second prize went to the Getafe Music Band with 337 points and the third to the Moncada Artistic Musical Center, with 319 points.

The galician band of Caldas de Reis win the Second Section of the 136 CIBM “Ciudad de València”
The Palau de la Música hosts the First and Honor sections today, Saturday and tomorrow, Sunday. The Municipal Music Band of Caldas de Reis (Pontevedra) has been proclaimed winner of the first prize in the Second Section of the “Ciudad de València” International Music Band Competition that was held this Friday at the Palau de la Música, by obtaining 338 points. For its part, the Santadega de Coles Music Band (Orense) has obtained second prize, with 324 points, and the La Familiar Musical Society of Benisanó (Valencia) has won third, reaching 323 points.

Around 4,250 people applaud the inaugural acts of the International Music Band Contest 2024
The show "Sonar València. Paisaje Eco-sónico de la ciudad" brings together around 2,000 people in the Plaza de L'Ajuntament. The symphonic mascletà recorded an attendance of about 1,500 people and 750 more at the Teatro Principal with the performance of the youth bands.
