He divides his time between these activities and his work as a musician and Director of the "Allegro" Music Center. He is a member of WASBE.

His two symphonies, 'Tormenta del Desierto' and 'La Passió de Crist', confirm Ferrer Ferran's status as one of the best European composers of our times or, as the critics describe him: "a composer able to combine technique with enormous creativity, fusing avant-garde music with the pure language of romanticism, thereby creating an atmosphere full of color, a novelty at this time and written for this ensemble"; "Ferrer Ferran, a great scholar of wind and percussion ensembles, achieves a uniform and attractive tone with his compositions, treating this ensemble like a sonorous symphonic group"; "the composer Ferrer Ferran, brought two of his own pieces to the podium, in which he displayed his instrumental ability, the richness of his tones, the magnificence of his solutions and, above all, the melodic vein that contrasts to a well-crafted harmonization capable of describing atmospheres, moments and people." His third symphony, 'The Great Spirit', has fulfilled all expectations, receiving high praise and awards from the critics worldwide, thereby confirming Ferrer Ferran's position as a high-profile composer.

His works, especially music composed for both chamber and symphonic wind ensembles, have been premiered and performed in renowned concert halls, not only in Spain, but all over the world. Worthy of particular mention are his compositions for prestigious soloists, such as: Jesús Fuster (Oboe), Rubén Marqués (Trumpet), Javier de la Vega (Saxophone), Xavier Richart (Dulzaina), Vicente López (Tuba), Javier Bonet (Horn), Spanish Brass Lour Metals, Amores (Percussion), Strombor Brass, Duo Parsax (Saxophone), Vicente Alberola (Trumpet), Luis Andrés Faus (Trumpet), Patrick Sheridan (Tuba), Nobuya Sugawa (Saxophone), Christian Lindberg (Trombone) and Tim Buzbee (Tuba), among many others.
