He has a doctorate (PhD) from the Universidad de Vigo and a master’s degree from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid.
He was composer in residence at the Academia de España in Rome for the 2019-2020 academic year.
He has taught at the Conservatorio Superior de Música de Vigo.

- He was one of the three composers selected to represent Spain at the World Music Days 2009, Sweden, International Society of Contemporary Music.
- He composed the music for a short film for the GESAMT project organized by the filmmaker Lars Von Trier.
